The Recurrence closed on its own thesis: a structural gap doesn't resolve when the calendar runs out, it just stops being that issue's problem and starts being the next one's inheritance. The Inheritance opens holding exactly that — the E17 The Audited House vs. E18 The Message Board feature-lead question, undecided since Issue 6, now carried into a fourth issue. What's different this time is mechanical: the comb run that might finally settle it fires 2026-09-17, and for the first time since the question opened, that date falls inside the issue's own week rather than after it.
